TTo my lovely Mom and Dad
To my Mom and Dad who always have the wisdom in taking final decisions, I am writing this letter hoping you clearly understand my view. Since I came to California, I am suffering from transportation here. You would not imagine the situation here while going to school, however, people stuck in streets for 3 or 4 hours, paying for parking lots everywhere, really few parking lots and hard to find, .. etc.. . Therefore, as a main reason, not being late for the morning classes, I would like to get a motorcycle. Lovely Mom and Dad, I understand that you might think it is dangerous to ride a motorcycle because I might go speed , but I would like to illustrate something to you. Driving a motorcycle in California is different from Kuwait, driving here a motorcycle very safe with the riding laws. Police officers everywhere here, so no one can go speed either cars or motorcycles. In addition, speed fine is really expensive here, so I or cars' riders would not think to speed. Second you might think falling down something is possible to happen and I agree with you that is something could happen, but do you know no can ride a motorcycle without a special license. However, no one will sell you one without showing the license, this is the law here. People have to go to a class to get the license, which needs 7 days and more than 5 hours a day. Although I had one before you decided to sell it, I am going to attend that class. Can you imagine how long of time I am going to practice again and how experience will I get. Moreover, to assure your hearts, you will not see someone rides a motorcycle without a helmet because it is illegal here, so I have no choice I will were it whenever I ride. I understand you might think sometimes I must go fast because I am on motorcycle, but I want to assure you that I will not ride the motorcycle at night or the whole day because as you know I have a car which is preferable in order to have accompany with me. Hence, I will not be able to go fast at the morning because basically is will be crowed. My parents who are the best ever, you might think I would be hit by other cars, but I would assure you that getting a driver license is one of the most difficult things could happen in California. DMV will not give driver license easily, which means people here drive carefully specially with the wide spread of the policemen.

The article mentioned that solar energy has few negative impacts during collector operation. in addition, It said that solar energy system is cost a large number of money because it is new. As the article mentioned, although we can get free with large amount of light, this system is still cost because of the required equipments. In this article, the writer explains the importance of solar energy and the impacts in negative side. This article helps me because I am concern in my research about the effectiveness of solar energy, however, one of the reasons that makes the humanity trends to use solar energy is reducing the pollution that dominant out world. I want to find if there is negative effects for us as people who are going in the future and how value it is.

Research
I have learned from Wikipedia that we can look for the key words that are important and help us to be the main ideas or our topics about. An area that seems interesting to me is the feild that I am studing, which is Mechanical Engineerign,I pored over looking for questiong for my topic. I know some information about the topic that I am going to research, Solar Energy,. I know that Solar Energy power could replece other powers such as gas and petrol power, however, I know solar energy power reduces the pollution, and it's existed profusely even more than the gas. I know that one day we would not have enough gas to comtinue our life, therefore, many regions around the world working on improving it. So does it deserve to put all our money and power to improve it? Is it possible that solar energy replace gas energy and contrll the world? Is it true that there is no pollution or side effect from solar energy?

American food Vs Kuwait food
Before I came to the U.S, I was not thinking or worrying about the food in the U.S that will fill my stomach for 3 or 4 years. But now, after getting experience with the food in America or ''American food,'' I think I need to rethink about this aspect. In fact, unlike my all Asian friends, I lost weight more than 8 kilograms. I was not think that I will loose my weight in the place where is the most famous fast food had been created.
The reason why I was not worry about losing weight in the U.S has a relation with the food in my country, Kuwait. Macdonalds, carles junior, Burgerking, and pizza are best fast food in my country beside Domenoz, PapaJones, and others. However, it has good taste and good quality. Although they are fast food and are not recommended to be eaten, all people who i know in Kuwait have no resistance toward that food taste, I do not blame them! Therefore, I was thought these food in the U.S would be even more delicious, Once I said for my younger brother I am going the original Macdonalds. Moreover, if you ask someone who has been in Kuwait as a visitor what is the most interesting and distinctive there, you will be heard food one of the answers. It might be one of the reasons that I got food-shoked, specially when I recognize 50% of the restaurants originally from the U.S.
In my view, America has a distinctive food, burgers, fries, pizza, and fast food generally, but I am not sure if i should say traditional food, except if we look at the Turkey. Comparing the food in the U.S with Kuwait has many differences; however, we have a traditional food and it is known with the delicious taste. It is most delicious food I have ever eaten and I do not think I would find the same taste in others food. It is known in my country if someone who cooks is not in a good mood, it is better not to cook because Kuwait tradition food associated with the cook soul. Maybe you feel weird about our thought toward this thing, but if you know the reason you will not feel that feeling. The food in my country depends on many kinds of spices and a cook can add whatever he or she wants. so finally, it depends on the cook mood while cooking in adding the kind and the amount of the spices.
Finally, if some one told lets go to eat American food, yes I would think the American food is burger, fries, mash potato, or chicken with a big cup of Cocacola. It might there is something else regarding to the American food, but this is what I am seeing since I came to the U.S

pessimistic vs. optimistic
For long time, I had been hearing this statements by others. Since that, I decided that this statement's words would be my life as long as my age is ongoing, albeit I had not ever known who said it at first time. But finally through Mr. Sean I knew for who these words refer. Actually, I took awhile staring on his picture asking my self how many hampers that he passed and how he got the hope in impossible things that make him create this statement.
In fact, I am not only agree with this statement "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty," but I believe in this statement. The meaning that this statement carries have survived many patience who lost the hope to be survived, many students who looked at the ground with a disappointed eyed, a lot of people who lost their hope to achieve their goals.
In this statements, we can see two kinds of people; first, people who always look at the thing in negative aspects; second, people who always look at the thing in positive aspects. For first kind of people, life regarding to them is short and does not worth to do the best effort and give it their time if some thing screwed. For example, if someone has a company and that person is losing every thing and the percentage of retaining the things to the ordinarily situation is 49%, that person will say there is no chance or time to fix the situation, however, if it was 50% to 50% we might have chances. Meanwhile, the second kind of people, life regarding to them is a big space of chances that they can fix whatever screwed even in the hardest situations. For example, if that company is owned to a person who is an optimist as the statement says, and the percentage of fixing was even 1%, that person will look through that 1% as the only treatment and the hope that can fix the damages.
Generally, I believe I am an optimistic person because I believe there is no dilemma has no solution, every thing could be fixed if we use the write solutions as long as we have time. For example, getting an admission in a university im the United States needs to pass TOEFL exam with high score, I have been trying to get a high score in IBT since 6 months to be qualified to get the admission in a certain university. Now, I am in my last three months in the United States to get the required scores to get the admission. But i believe I can pass IBT with the required scores as long as l have time and chance to get it.

One of my best friends and I !
In fact, I pored over thinking about my best friend, and it turned out I do not have best friend, but I have best friends. Since I was a child, I have been getting many friends that I love to hangout and spend my time with and I get the feel that I am very close from them and lucky to know them. Thus, I am going to use 'One of My Best Friends'' term.
One of my best friends whom I spent most of my friendship's time with is named Homod. Despite of the great relation ship that brings us together in the most of the day's hours, we are still have some traits which are completely oppose each others. The most thing that I hate and I get annoyed with is smoking. I do not like sitting next to people smoke cigarette at all, and I try to be away from them. Nevertheless, I sit all the time next to my friend Homod and argue how smoking is bad. In fact, I did my best advising him to quit because he was not a smoker at the first time I met him ,and fortunately I influenced him, but not any more since I came to the United States. Another thing that we do not have a deal with is while sleeping. In my last 6 months in Kuwait before I came here, I used to sleep every weekend in Homod's parents house beach with other friends. Usually we sleep in the same room and when it is the time to sleep, after catching the light and get ready to sleep, he turns on his laptop and surfs the internet ,because he is an internet addicted. For me, I get annoyed easily if there is a sound or light opened while sleeping time, so every time we argue about this point right before sleeping. Yet, we sleep at the same room and non of us let the other sleep in another room.
With this differences we have many similarities. First, we both schedule our day's hours to get each other. In addition, we like travel and discover other countries food, culture, people, ..etc. Another thing we both have the same behavior toward is trying all kinds of food. actually, we love food, however, when we get hungry, we stop doing every thing to decide what we are going to eat, and we both agree fatty food is the best food ,and healthier than vegetarian food. We both hate a place that is packed with many people, we tend to be in a quite place. Finally, the most thing that we share and our days go with is the sense of humor, we both are alike in this point. It is impossible that we be together without laughing and making fun we start our conversations with laugh and finish it with laugh. We both believe this is the source of a great and happiness life. However, with some of these differences and similarities we like to sit, chatting, playing, hangout, and ending our day with laugh.
